The short films “Birthmarked” by Mehrshad Golkarian, “She was a star” by Neshat Shabani, “Sky(pe)” by Riccardo Menicatti and Bruno Ugioli, “The stolen embrace” (L’abbraccio rubato) by Simone Gazzola, “Waiting here” (Ti aspetto qui) by Gabriele Brundu, “Soul” (Anima) by Andrea Baglio, “Cecilia’s Diary” (Diario de Cecilia) by Valérie Loewensberg and the short documentary “As leaves in the wind” (Como hojas por el viento) by Sofia Luz are in the official selection of 19th Orlando Film Festival, USA.

The festival will take place from October 31th to November 7th, 2024 and the films will be screened at the CMX PLAZA CINEMA CAFE, Orlando, United States.

Short films PREMIERES

It will be American premiere for “She was a star”, “The stolen embrace” and “Cecilia’s Diary” .

Named one of the Top-25 “Coolest Film Festivals in the World” by Moviemaker Magazine, the Orlando Film Festival (OFF) is now in its 19th year.
The Orlando Film Festival is an immersive eight-day experience that includes more than 350 films and industry panels and workshops, all geared to the 300+ indie filmmakers and 12,000 in attendance. Nightly parties and a variety of professional activities encourage important networking opportunities. The festival culminates with an award ceremony featuring prizes valued at more than $1 million.
