E Fu Cinema Short Film Festival
It’s a short film competition organized by Compagnia Minimal APS under the patronage of the Municipality of Pomarance, aimed at sharing and highlighting the story of the brothers Azeglio and Lamberto Pineschi.
The Pineschi brothers—originally from Pomarance, where their ancestor had arrived from Poland in the mid-18th century—invented the revolutionary “CINE-FONO” projection system in 1923; this system achieved, for the first time in the world, perfect synchronization between the image on “film” and the sound on a “talking disc.”
Subsequently, the Pineschi brothers created other remarkable cinematic inventions that confirmed their undisputed genius.
