The short documentary “After Fentanyl” by Rinaldas Tomaševičius is in the official selection of the 48. KORTFILMFESTIVALEN – The Norwegian Short Film Festival, Norway.

➡ The KORTFILMFESTIVALEN is an Oscar Qualifying Festival.
It will be held from June 11th to June 15th 2025.

“After Fentanyl” is included in the International Short Films and Short Documentaries section.
It will be screening on Wednesday June 11th at 4pm, at Catilina.

KORTFILMFESTIVALEN – The Norwegian Short Film Festival is Norway’s largest short film festival and the only Academy Awards qualifying film festival.
It offers for both, emerging and established filmmakers, the chance to compete for the Golden Chair Award.
Also, it organizes events every year such as panels and presentations, masterclasses, debates and open forums to connect professionals in the industry.

The Short Documentary

Fentanyl, the most popular street drug in Vilnius, is merciless to anyone who tries it. A film director attempts a noble mission. He discovers a group of drug addicts roaming the streets and begins to visit them consistently, with a vision to save at least one of them, even though they all have HIV, hepatitis and other diseases.
