The short film “Di Marketing e Miracoli” by Serena Lazzaro is in the official selection of the 16th L’Aquila Film Festival, Italia.

L’Aquila Film Festival

The L’Aquila Film Festival was founded in 2007, immediately focusing on European cinema, including first works and local directors, for whom it often provides a significant showcase.
It works in synergy with the University of L’Aquila and engages leading figures in Italian cinema, inviting them to share their experiences in L’Aquila, in close contact with students and the general public, as a cultural and civic testimony.

Synopsis of the film

Vatican 2013. Anna and Cardinal Tonini must collaborate to find a solution to the decline in approval of the Catholic Church caused by Benedict XVI. After a series of indecent proposals Anna, helped by a miracle, manages to find a solution that everyone can agree on. After 10 years, however, the problem returns, this time the stakes are higher and the solution will have to be drastic.
