The short film “Glitter Kiss” by Augustė Gerikaitė is in the official selection of the 13th AS Film Festival, Italy.

📅The festival will take place on November 15th and 16th.

AS Film Festival

AS Film Festival, the first international film and visual arts festival, is conceived and produced by a neurodiverse staff, consisting of neurotypical and neurodivergent people. It was born as a follow-up to a multi-phase program launched by the Not Equal association in 2008, based on the use of cinema as a tool for non-formal education, social inclusion, and aggregation. ASFF is a unique cultural project: it is not a festival about autism, but a true film festival, made largely by people with autism.

Synopsis of the film

After discovering a brutally beaten drag queen Klaudijus, in his apartment building, homophobe Rolandas reluctantly takes him to the hospital and becomes his first response. As the police investigate and Klaudijus’ life hangs in the balance, Rolandas is forced to rethink his beliefs.
