“The Truth” (La Verità) by Miranda Angeli is among the finalists of the Globo d’Oro 2023.
The award ceremony will take place on July 5th at Villa Massimo, headquarters of the Accademia Tedesca di Roma.

The prestigious Italian film award Globo d’Oro is awarded by foreign press journalists in Italy.
The first Globo d’Oro was created in 1959 by the Foreign Press Association in Italy, which decided to draw inspiration from the famous Golden Globes of American cinema. Since then, the award has become an annual event of great prestige, together with the David di Donatello and the Nastri d’Argento.

“The Truth” (La verità) by Miranda Angeli sees the extraordinary interpretation of Anna Cianca in the role of Rachele, an independent and feminist woman who has to face a terrible loss: her son Filippo is killed by Giulia, a university classmate.
