“The stolen embrace “ (L’abbraccio rubato) by Simone Gazzola wins the “Ordine 𝐆𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐨 – 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚” award at XVII edition of Festival Internazionale della Cinematografia Sociale Tulipani di Seta Nera with the following motivation:
“For the power of the message and the originality of the narration of a dramatically current theme. The acting ability of the protagonist is extraordinary, capable of creating empathy with the spectator only through looks and gestures. The director’s choice to descend into the depths of the most painful solitude is courageous.”
