Four short films from Alpha Film distribution were awarded at 9th VisualFest, Rome, Italy:

– Jury Award to “Hidden Time” (Il tempo nascosto) by Giovanni Soldi
– Special Mention to “As leaves in the wind” by Sofia Luz
– Audience Award to “Milk and Cookies” (Latte e Biscotti) by Sabrina La Macchia ex aequo with “Musintasia” by Alessandro Navarino.

VISUALFEST

VisualFest is a contest born in 2013 on the initiative of a group of scholars and experts (Roberto Cipriani, Fabio Bocci, Gianmarco Bonavolontà, Claudio Mosticone, Paolo Tomassini, Salvatore Di Riso, Mario Pireddu, Luciano Di Mele) and is organized within the Department of Educational Sciences of Roma Tre University.

In the intentions of the founders, the exhibition is aimed at encouraging the diffusion of works created by scholars, teachers, male and female students, educators, professionals and operators who use the image as a vector of knowledge, as a methodology, as method and as a means of investigation of the phenomena that concern the human being in his relationship with his own identity, with others, with the world of ideas and things, with events. All with an openness to the different visual forms with which this can be achieved and in a spirit of freedom and dialogue.
