“Waiting here” (Ti aspetto qui) by Gabriele Brundu has been selected at Nordic Star Festival.
The festival will take place from 5 to 6 October, at Karlsgatan 2, Västerås, and from 9 to 12 October at the Zita cinema in Stockholm.

Nordic Star Festival takes over the direction of the film industry and the future perspective from Västerås Film Festival, which founded the festival and has run it for 9 years. Västerås Film Festival is an international film festival held in autumn every year since 2015. The festival shows films in different genres from around the world. The festival also contains workshops, lectures, debates, film cafés and exhibitions. Västerås Film Festival is one of the most interesting festivals in northern Europe.
The short film
“Waiting here” (Italy, 2023 / 12′) tells about an event that disrupts the life of Andrea, a 9-year-old boy, forcing him to put a strain on his childhood. With the help of his parents, young Andrea moves lightly in the world of adults to restore broken balances.
