“The Recurrence” (La Ricorrenza) by Angelo Giordano is in the official selection of 5th The Cecil County Independent Film Festival, United States. The short will be screened tomorrow November 16th, 2024.

The Cecil County Independent Film Festival

Since 2019 The Cecil County Independent Film Festival has presented over 300 films, with films from as far away as China and as close as Rising Sun, Maryland. The Cecil County Film Festival is a three day celebration for filmmakers and film lovers in the greater Cecil county area, The festival’s goal is to bring new voices and bold choices to the community with selections from this festival, be it in narrative, short form, documentarian and everything in between. The 2024 festival runs November 15th, 16th & 17th.

The short film

“The Recurrence” tell about a small town in the south of Italy where the new mayor has canceled an ancient recurrence. Tommaso, a bizarre man worried by the disastrous consequences that this decision could bring, tries to change his mind.
