“The double life of Kore” (La doppia vita di Kore) by Maria Antonietta Mariani and “Waiting Here” (Ti aspetto qui) by Gabriele Brundu are in the official selection of Los Angeles, Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Fest, USA.

It’s American premiere for both films.

Los Angeles, Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Fest

The 19th Annual Event featuring Italian Motion Pictures, Music, Fashion, Tourism and Food will take place in Los Angeles from March 3th to 9th on the eve of the 96nd Academy Awards®. The event will highlight Italy’s longstanding cinematic, lifestyle and artistic legacy and will introduce current Italian productions and excellences to the United States. It is held under the auspices of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the support of Italian Ministry of Culture (MiC), the ITA – Italian Trade Agency and Intesa Sanpaolo.
Los Angeles, Italia 2024 will honor the “ambassadors” of Italian Culture and Lifestyle.

The short films

“The double life of Kore” (La doppia vita di Kore) by Maria Antonietta Mariani, its a short documentary: Gaia, Nina, Teresa and Virginia are artists of the cultural scene of Rome. Signs, objects and relationships animate the creative process and the works. The interweaving of emotions and experiences of the protagonists returns a story poised between realism and magical thinking.
“Waiting Here” (Ti aspetto qui) by Gabriele Brundu tells about an event that disrupts the life of Andrea, a 9-year-old boy, forcing him to put a strain on his childhood. With the help of his parents, young Andrea moves lightly in the world of adults to restore broken balances.
