“Waiting here” (Ti aspetto qui) by Gabriele Brundu will have its world premiere at 29. Visioni Italiane. The short-film is included in the special program Visioni Sarde dedicated to the films from Sardinia.

The short-film will be shown on Saturday 30 September in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy.

Visioni Sarde

Visioni Sarde is an initiative born in 2014 as part of the historic Visioni Italiane Festival of the Cineteca di Bologna, a festival which reaches its 29th edition this year, with the aim of telling Sardinia through cinema. Anno dopo anno la sezione “Visioni Sarde”, che giunge quest’anno alla 10ª edizione, è diventata sempre più grande mantenendo la sua vocazione di luogo di vetrina per cinema di qualità prodotto in Sardegna e di scoperta e di valorizzazione dei giovani talenti sardi.

The short film

“Waiting here” (Italy, 2023 / 12′) tells about an event that disrupts the life of Andrea, a 9-year-old boy, forcing him to put a strain on his childhood. With the help of his parents, young Andrea moves lightly in the world of adults to restore broken balances.
