“Burning” by Tang Hao is in the official selection of the 29th ART FILM FEST Kosice, Slovak Republic.
The festival
The Art Film Festival was held for the first time in 1993, the year of the foundation of the Slovak Republic and is the longest-running international film festival in Slovakia.
With an increasingly important number of spectators, reaching from 400 in the first edition up to 30,000 people last year, the festival has two sections in competition: feature films and shorts.
Feature and shorts
Both sections are evaluated by international juries that award the highest recognition, the Blue Angel, for the best film, director, actress and actor. The out-of-competition sections present works by established authors, cult films, themed film projects, but also retrospectives of award-winning artists.
