The short film “Cecilia’s Diary” (Diario de Cecilia) by Valérie Loewensberg is in the official selection of the 19th Festival de Cine Inusual de Buenos Aires, Argentina.

From its inception, the Festival has sought to explore the less explored aspects of film production in order to meet the expectations of those who yearn for a different vision of filmmaking. The aim is to facilitate the knowledge of many new authors who offer an eclectic perspective from the thematic and visual.

The short film

“Cecilia’s Diary” (Diario de Cecilia) by Valérie Loewensberg tells the story of Cecilia, a girl isolated in a psychiatric hospital. She dreams of a place where the snow burns her skin and where she can find her lost love, Philippe. When the psychiatrist, with her mother’s approval, decides to extend her confinement, Cecilia hatches an escape plan.
