“STAY” by Luca Canali is in the official selection of 24th Screamfest Horror Film Festival, Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, USA.

The 24th annual Screamfest® Horror Film Festival will take place at the TCL Chinese Theatres in Hollywood from October 8-17, 2024.

SCREAMFEST® Horror Film Festival

Screamfest® Horror Film Festival is the largest and longest running horror film festival in the United States. Paranormal Activity was discovered and premiered at the festival in 2007.

The festival showcases new genre films from around the world. Other premieres have included Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension, Paranormal Activity, Dead Ant, Trick ‘r’ Treat, 30 Days of Night, The Human Centipede, American Mary, Diary of the Dead.

Some of the largest horror online publications have called it the “Sundance of Horror.”

The short film

“STAY” was born with the intention of addressing the most severe of mental symptoms, the second leading cause of death among young people, which paradoxically is spoken about very little: self-injury and suicide.

“Just graduated, Laura works as an usher in her mother’s theatre. The razor blade is her only companion. As she faces her dreaded control round; she discovers that she is not as alone as she thought.”
