She was born and raised in Greece. She is a graduate of the Met Film School (MA Directing). For her work, Kat has been awarded across Europe, winning \u2018Most Creative Storytelling\u2019 award at the Athens International Monthly Film and Art Festival, and the Golden Lemur award in Portugal. She directed and was the director of photography for &#8220;Sorry I\u2019m Late,&#8221; a short film commissioned by ADHD Hellas to raise awareness about adult ADHD. The film has been screened at international festivals, universities, and schools. Filmed on the Greek island of Andros, in an actual ancestral home with its original furnishings and portraits of the house\u2019s real past residents, the setting became a living, breathing character in the story. Our cast and crew lived and worked in the house throughout production, fully immersed in its history and haunting atmosphere.<br \/>\nThis project would not have been possible without the support of the International Festival of Andros, Fast Ferries, and the Moraitis Legacy, who believed in the vision of this film from the very beginning. I am especially honoured to have legendary Greek filmmaker Pantelis Voulgaris as an associate producer. His iconic work, (including Little England which was also filmed on Andros and was Greece\u2019s official submission to the Academy Awards in 2014) has been a constant source of inspiration.
