The short film “Glitter Kiss” by Augustė Gerikaitė is in the official selection of the 25th PÖFF Shorts (Black Nights Film Festival), Estonia.

📅 PÖFF Short is an Oscar and BAFTA qualifying festival.
It will takes place from Tuesday 11st to Wednesday 19th November.

📽 The film is included in the New Talents section and its screening is scheduled for Tuesday, November 11st at 5:00 pm at at Room 2 of the Artis Cinema.

PÖFF Shorts is the largest short film and animation festival in the Baltics, an integral part of the FIAPF-accredited Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF).
The festival’s mission is to showcase the finest animated and live-action short films of all genres, created by cutting-edge talents and bold visionaries from around the world. In addition to competitions, the festival presents a series of surprising and inspiring short film programs outside of competition.

Synopsis of the film

After discovering a brutally beaten drag queen Klaudijus, in his apartment building, homophobe Rolandas reluctantly takes him to the hospital and becomes his first response. As the police investigate and Klaudijus’ life hangs in the balance, Rolandas is forced to rethink his beliefs.
