Slemani International Film Festival
The 2025 Slemani International Film Festival is a festival held in Slemani, Iraq. It will be held this October, bringing together nationally and internationally renowned filmmakers. This year’s festival will feature seven competitive sections, with a total of 19 awards to be presented. The festival’s theme will focus on the Kurdish language and mother tongue, highlighting linguistic and cultural identity through cinema.
