The short film “Hidden Time” by Giovanni Soldi is in the official selection of the 8th Storie Parallele Film Festival, Matera.

The screening of the short film is scheduled for Friday, September 12th, at 9:30pm in Piazza Marconi – Sala Grande.

Storie Parallele Film Festival

The festival will take place from September 11th to 14th, 2025.
Storie Parallele is a short film festival, a space for sharing and discussion where everyone can share their fragment of life, a workshop to shed new light on abandoned places, parallel spaces, to enter a house that no longer exists, that has lost its roof, to touch a worm-eaten piece of furniture, to open a drawer to find the yellowed papers you’ve kept without choosing to. In addition to the screenings in competition, other activities will take place during the event.

The short film

A man returns to the place of his childhood, where he remembers a significant episode, there, in a hole, he had hidden ten thousand years. Now, in old age, he realizes the paradox of that game, the impossibility of hiding time.
