The documentary “Le cicogne di Chernobyl” (The Storks of Chernobyl) by Karim Galici has been selected at the 8th i-Fest International Film Festival, Italy.

i-Fest International Film Festival

i-Fest International Film Festival is an international cultural event dedicated to cinema and new technologies, considered one of the most important and representative in Italy to date. Synopsis of the film

Hundreds of thousands of children from areas contaminated by the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster found hospitality in Italy thanks to the “Solidarity Reception Projects.” Some of the protagonists look back on that experience, which changed their lives. Stories sometimes marked by pain but later transformed into hope by the love of families who opened their hearts and homes.
