KYIV INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
The festival presents a wide range of short films by emerging and established directors, including film school students and independent filmmakers from around the world. Its goal is to showcase the most exciting, creative, and distinctive films, while promoting Ukrainian cinema, encouraging communication and exchange between Ukrainian and international filmmakers and artists, and providing a safe and welcoming space for our audiences.
Synopsis of the film
After discovering a brutally beaten drag queen Klaudijus, in his apartment building, homophobe Rolandas reluctantly takes him to the hospital and becomes his first response. As the police investigate and Klaudijus’ life hangs in the balance, Rolandas is forced to rethink his beliefs.
